Ishmael is a mixed horse breed that goes by many names; Marsh Tacky, Florida Cracker Horse, Seminole pony, Florida Cow Pony, etc. These horses are escaped decedents of the Spanish horses brought to the Americas. They evolved through natural selection as a wild horse that could adapt to the Florida environment. They are smaller than the average horse and quick on their feet! These wild beauties are considered a rare breed.
